Charleston Museum Nature Trailers Summer Camp
Get down and dirty exploring creatures of the marsh and tracking animals along the trail at the Charleston Museum’s Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wildlife sanctuary located on James Island along the Stono River. 2012 RiverDogs Youth Baseball Camp is July 11-13. Join the Charleston RiverDogs players and coaches this summer to learn the game of baseball from future New York Yankees! The RiverDogs have a strong commitment to developing young talent in the Charleston area. That commitment begins with the strength of their coaching staff, all of whom believe that first and foremost, baseball should be FUN! Kids will learn introductory skills and reinforce the game’s fundamentals—hitting, catching, fielding, throwing and agilities. Sol Surfers
Each week long (M-F) surf camp session includes all gear, a Sol Surfers/Billabong T-shirt, snacks, certificate of achievement, goody bag provided by Billabong, 6-1 student/ instructor ratio to best meet each child’s abilities and comfort level. This package is most recommended for the young beginner/intermediate ages 8-15. Instruction takes place on the beach and in the water. Technical skills are covered as well as safety and etiquette, wind, weather and water conditions, how to select gear and how to read the ocean and watch for the best ride! Camp hours are 9:00am-12:30pm @ E. 8th Street Folly Beach. Shuttle is provided to and from the beach. Private and group lessons and birthday parties are also available and can be arranged by appointment.

The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center (DNLCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving victims of child abuse and neglect in Charleston and Berkeley counties.
